Firehouse Dog Birthday Card

Good Morning everyone! I apologize for having been a bit MIA in the blogging world. I'm trying to discipline myself to make time to blog and it's very difficult.

Anyway, moving on. Today I am sharing a card that I made for a special little man who turned two last week.

I made this card with crayola pencils and cricut die cuts. I colored the background by hand, to create the landscape and then the rest is die cuts.

If I use my cricut die cuts for cards, I love creating little scenes for them. I just feel like it makes the card a bit more special.

It's hard to tell, but the pup is mounted on 3d foam mounting tape.

Supplies I used:
Textured cardstock - red, black, yellow, white, and green
Crayola colored pencils - blue, light green, and tan
Die Cuts - Cricut, Create a Critter
3d foam mounting tape
Glue runner - 3L Mystick

  1. Jessi, such a perfect card for a little "fireman" - primary colors, familiar scenery, good for learning to see the world outside.

  2. So very cute Jessi ! Great job on your blog again too.

  3. Very cute - I hope he loved it!

  4. The card turned out so well. I know he really must have liked his special card!
