Day 16 - Poinsettia Christmas Card

Hello everyone. I apologize for going MIA for a little while but I had Etsy orders to fill. And though the coloring challenge is over I am still continuing (by the way I still have orders coming in but right now I have some extra time to post.)

For today's post I made a Christmas card.

I stamped the poinsettia three times and then cut out each piece. I then colored and stacked the pieces.

I used a gold metallic sharpie marker for both the pine needles and the little balls in the middle.

I have no earthly idea what brand of stamp this is, but I absolutely love it.

Supplies I used:
red textured cardstock
gold and green scrapbook paper - Christmas Traditions paper pad (Paper Studio)
Poinsettia rubber stamp
Sentiment clear stamp
black pen
colored pencil - Crayola
gold metallic marker - Sharpie

I use coloring pencils since I don't have a good set of markers but I hope to invest in a good set soon.

I hope you enjoyed today's post. I won't be blogging everyday this challenge but I will try to blog at least a couple times a week.

Supplies I used:
 - Cardstock

High Five Graduate Card

Hello. I hope everyone had a good Father's Day today!
I wish I had a Father's day project to share with you today, but the card I had planned on making this week had to be postponed due to orders that had to be expedited. I wouldn't have even had this card if it hadn't been that I needed a card since we were invited to a graduation party Saturday.

I cut a strip about 1/4" of gold glitter and I accidentally didn't cut it straight so I overlapped the purple polka dot paper to cover up the seam.

The photo frame and the girl have been cut out using my new cricut explore air, and I backed the frames with gold glitter paper.

I just love her little high heel shoes.

Have a good week everyone!

Supplies I used:  *La Petite and Paper Studio are found at Hobby Lobby
Cardstock
Glitter paper - Classic Glam Glitter pack (Paper Studio)
Polka dot paper - Back to Basics pack (Paper Studio)
Photo frames - Small Talk Frames and Tags die (Cricut)
Girl - Create a Friend (Cricut)
Explore Air Machine - (Cricut)

Someone Who Changes Everything - Best Friend Card

Hello, I hope everyone is having a good morning! Today I'm sharing another card for the Best Friend Challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp blog and I am using one of my new stamps from Some Odd Girl which also happens to be my first stamps from them.

For this card I chose a Clean and Simple design. I haven't made to many with that design and it's been awhile, but I love how this one turned out.

I mostly used colored pencils to color this sweet couple, but for the dress I used my brother's gelly roll pen and for the collar of the tux I used my black zebra pen.

I know I used the same sentiment on the card I made the other day, but I just can't help it!

Supplies I used:  Paper Studio products are found at Hobby Lobby
card - Paper Studio
First Dance Mae stamp set - Some Odd Girl
hearts - lawn fawn
sentiment - Stampin Up
gelly roll pen - sakura
black zebra pen

I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange - Best Friends

Sanctity of Life Fundraiser

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope everyone's year is going well so far.

I know that it's already January 12 and I apologize for that, but I think this post is a good way to start off the new year even if it is 12 days late.

Since January 17 is Sanctity of Life Sunday my Pastor decided that it was fitting for our church to raise money for the Piedmont Women's Center during the month of January. He and his wife handed out baby bottles for us to put our spare change or coffee money in and I am taking this challenge a step further.

Not only will I put my spare change in the bottle but I am also donating 25% of all sales during this month to the Pregnancy Medical Clinic.

Will you help me fill this bottle? My goal is to fill more than
one bottle and with your help I can.

Firehouse Dog Birthday Card

Good Morning everyone! I apologize for having been a bit MIA in the blogging world. I'm trying to discipline myself to make time to blog and it's very difficult.

Anyway, moving on. Today I am sharing a card that I made for a special little man who turned two last week.

I made this card with crayola pencils and cricut die cuts. I colored the background by hand, to create the landscape and then the rest is die cuts.

If I use my cricut die cuts for cards, I love creating little scenes for them. I just feel like it makes the card a bit more special.

It's hard to tell, but the pup is mounted on 3d foam mounting tape.

Supplies I used:
Textured cardstock - red, black, yellow, white, and green
Crayola colored pencils - blue, light green, and tan
Die Cuts - Cricut, Create a Critter
3d foam mounting tape
Glue runner - 3L Mystick
